As the eagerly anticipated 2000Trees Festival draws near, we took the opportunity to connect with some of the bands gracing this year’s lineup. This renowned festival, held at the picturesque Upcote Farm, is celebrated for its eclectic mix of emerging and established artists, creating an immersive experience for music lovers.
In part two we caught up with Vower who will play The Cave on Thursday at 2pm and Terminals who play the Neu Stage on Thursday at 10:30am We discussed their festival essentials, what they’re most looking forward to, and their plans for the rest of 2025.

What are you most excited for at 2000 trees?
VOWER : We’re most excited to come back having had the last year to really dig into our live show and release new music. Trees was our first festival appearance last year!
Terminals : Simply to play there! 2000 trees is by far our favourite festival ever, and to have our debut festival set be at trees is nothing more than a dream come true.
What can people expect from your set?
VOWER : For those who are coming on the Wednesday you can expect two totally different sets, as we’re playing the forest stage on the Wednesday and main stage on the Saturday, we wanted to mix up the setlists a bit.
Terminals : A lot of big RIFFS, our classic tunes and a couple of brand new songs. Our aim is to start the Thursday on a high by slamming RIFFS at trees.
Which bands are you most excited to see over the weekend?
VOWER : It’ll be different for each member of the band but a few to name would be taking back Sunday, Heriot, alexisonfire and unpeople.
Terminals : Very excited to see Unpeople, Split Chain, Oversize, Vukovi, Kneecap, Vower, Love Is Noise, Heriot, and so many others.
Are there any upcoming bands from your area that people should be checking out?
VOWER : Slung are definitely ones to check out!
Terminals : TNL VZN, Pip and Take Breath are definitely ones to check out!
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
VOWER : There’s a bunch of stuff we’ll be talking about real soon! Aside from that our plans are to keep writing more songs.
Terminals : Releasing a lot of new music, and playing Truck Festival at the end of July, as-well as a lot of exciting shows happening after the summer!
What are your festival essentials?
VOWER : Anti bacterial wipes for sure. A poncho for the inevitable British summer downpour and a big ol bottle of water… stay hydrated
Terminals : Always bring your pedalboard, even if you’re not playing, makes it more exciting. Second biggest essential is a tent, then beers. Pedals above all else though.
