ASIWYFA announce new album & single “Do Mór”

Irish post-rock heroes And So I Watch You From Afar have announced their seventh full-length album, Megafauna, scheduled for release on 9th August 2024 on Pelagic Records.

Megafauna marks the band’s first new music since 2022’s critically acclaimed Jettison, an ambitious multimedia ensemble piece filled with experimentation and collaboration. Playfully dubbing Jettison their “mature record” the band approached the writing of Megafauna with their long-standing mantra, “Do the Scary Thing” This philosophy drives ASIWYFA towards innovation, progress, and the unknown.

While Megafauna embraces a more familiar, traditional form, in this post-Jettison, post-pandemic world, it serves as a bold and defiant statement of intent from the band’s dynamic core—a resounding call for the communities that shape them and a glorious celebration of unity over division.

The album’s lead single, “Do Mór” is a delightfully playful mix of light-hearted guitar hooks, effortless jazz syncopation, and the triumphant return of ASIWYFA’s signature wall-of-sound distortion. Now streaming everywhere!
