After performing to a packed-out tent at this year’s ArcTanGent Festival, Dublin/Leipzig-based rock duo Bicurious have revealed the second glimpse of their forthcoming album Your Life is Over Now in the form of second single ‘Uncle Kevin’

Drawing influence from Biffy Clyro, Reuben and Thrice, Your Life is Over Now… is a much more lyrical body of work than Bicurious’ previous material, as the band tread new sonic ground. Thematically, the album explores the various facets of the idea of family – including Bicurious‘ own fans, who crowdfunded over €9000 to help make the record.

Taran Plouzané comments: “‘Uncle Kevin’ is a very emotional song, and speaks of a difficult family situation that someone very close to me has been going through since they were a child. It’s something that happens to so many people, and I hope the song brings something positive to someone out there who might have gone through a similar situation.”
