Dance Gavin Dance are excited to revisit some old favourites with the upcoming release of Tree City Sessions 3. The band has offered fans another taste with the updated version of their song “The Robot With Human Hair, Pt. 3”, taken from their 2008 self-titled album.

Dance Gavin Dance have established themselves as a formidable force in alternative music since forming in Sacramento, California in 2005. The band now turns its attention to revisiting fan favourites with the forthcoming release of Tree City Sessions 3. Offering a preview, they have unveiled a refreshed take on “The Robot With Human Hair, Pt. 3”, originally featured on their 2008 self-titled album.

Andrew Wells comments: “The entire Tree City Sessions series has given us the chance to highlight the strengths of each line-up across the catalogue. I grew up as a big fan of the Deathstar album, so being able to channel Kurt while bringing my own energy to this version of ‘Robot 3’ was a real privilege.”

Tree City Sessions 3 will be released via Rise Records on 22 May 2026 across digital platforms and the label’s webstore, with a full physical retail release to follow on 19 June 2026. A limited-edition tour variant will also be available at shows from 22nd May.
