UK heavy-music upstarts Dimscûa have shared the first installment of a new live session captured inside the candlelit nave of St. Mary Magdalene’s Church in Boveney. The series opens with a performance of “Existence/Futility,” a centerpiece from their debut LP Dust Eater, a record that arrived earlier this year and quickly became one of 2025’s breakout heavy releases.
On record, Dimscûa already sound massive – anxious, tectonic, and emotionally bare. But the new video reframes that intensity in stark physical terms: the band, dwarfed by stone arches, playing with a force that feels less like performance and more like purge. Every downstroke, every screamed phrase underlines the grief-stricken weight that defines their music.
The session arrives as the band prepares for the long-awaited physical edition of Dust Eater, due February 20, 2026 via Big Scary Monsters. They’ve also confirmed that a second full-length is on the way next year. If this church-bound performance is any indication, Dimscûa remain committed to their singular blend of volume and vulnerability – Proof that from the heaviest grief, the most powerful art can emerge.
