Drug Church are ready to make a bold return with their upcoming album PRUDE, slated for release on the 4th October via Pure Noise Records. For over a decade, the band has carved out a niche as one of punk’s most revered acts, and PRUDE promises to solidify their status as masters of loud guitar-driven anthems.
To mark the album’s announcement, Drug Church have today unveiled the first single, “Demolition Man” accompanied by a music video starring Biff Wiff, known for his roles in I Think You Should Leave and Everything Everywhere All At Once. The track combines fiercely infectious melodies with frontman Patrick Kindlon’s trademark wit, delving into existential questions with a dose of sardonic humor.
“A song about envying dogs because they know what they’ve gotta do each day. I’m sure dogs are often confused, but they always have the north star of instinct. People live without it.”
