Foxing announce self-titled album

Foxing have unveiled their forthcoming self-titled album in a cleverly staged 23-minute “press conference” video, where the band humorously presented empty chairs labeled with the names of various media outlets. The announcement, orchestrated by their manager Joseph Marro, revealed that the album will drop on the 13th September . The release marks a significant chapter for Foxing, as it is both self-produced and will be distributed through their independent label, Grand Paradise.

The band also used the press conference to debut their new eight-minute long single, “Greyhound” choosing to let the music speak for itself as they sat in silence during the video. “Greyhound” signifies a departure from the pop-laden sound of their 2021 album “Draw Down The Moon” showcasing a more atmospheric and contemplative direction.

Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Foxing have carved out a reputation for their dynamic and ever evolving sound, which integrates elements of post-rock, emo, and indie music. From the emotional depth of their 2013 debut “The Albatross” to the ambitious and experimental “Nearer My God” the band has consistently pushed the boundaries of their musical expression.
