Irish math/noise rock outfit GOD ALONE are currently tearing through a run of shows with And So I Watch You From Afar but have today unleashed their blistering new single, “Pink Himalayan.” The track previews their upcoming album The Beep Test, out October 10th via Prosthetic Records.

GOD ALONE push that balance to new extremes on “Pink Himalayan.” The result is a feverish dance-pit anthem, echoing the kinetic chaos of The Armed and Black Midi. With jagged guitars, swaggering percussion, anthemic choruses, and a euphoric finale punctuated by the rallying cry “We’re going out tonight; it’s party time” the track underscores the band’s mastery of precision within pandemonium.

“I had the riff and vocal melody for a while, then we layered synths around it,” says guitarist/vocalist Jake O’Driscoll.
“It really came to life in rehearsal,” adds drummer Jack O’Hanlon. “It’s the first track where we’ve built a proper clean vocal hook. You know it’s party time when this one kicks in.”
