This Sunday in Nottingham we welcome the return of the Hockley Hustle, the city’s beloved music and arts festival which transforms more than 45 venues, stages, cafes and alleyways into a live-pulse of music, art and community. It’s a mosaic of scenes covering metal, post rock, indie, electronic, spoken word, experimental street performance and more all while raising money for local charities.

bUTTONpUSHER have been involved with the festival since 2008 and this year is no different as we take over Brewdog for the day with bands like Mammoth Toe, Socks and Ballerinas and Masquerader coming to Nottingham to perform for the festival. so if you want to catch the more leftfield and riffier bands be sure to stop by Brewdog from 3pm
Hockley Hustle as a festival has always been more than just a lineup. Since its origins in 2006, it has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local charities while giving space to “hidden gems” across Nottingham. It’s a one-day takeover of music, streets, clubs, bars, cafés – painting the entire city with sound and art.
In 2025, the festival aims for a £250,000 mark for charity, with more than 450 performers across 45+ venues. It prioritises diversity – of genre, of culture, of voices – and inclusion.
