Connecticut art-punk outfit Perennial have released their latest single, “Mouthful of Bees” along with an accompanying music video. The track, a frenetic burst of energy clocking in at just 90 seconds, is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Perennial’s distinct approach to punk shines in “Mouthful of Bees”—a tight, jittery composition that guitarist Chad Jewett describes as

‘a live staple for us and a nice, compact showcase of what we do: quick, sharp, and groovy. A minute and a half that lands somewhere between The Blood Brothers and Small Faces.”

Propelled by an incendiary blend of mod pop, post-hardcore, and vintage soul grooves, the track exemplifies the band’s commitment to fast, sharp, and exhilarating music.

The release sets the stage for a major milestone: Perennial’s first UK headline tour, scheduled for December 2024. Known for their chaotic and high-energy performances, the trio has built a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in the US DIY circuit. Now, they’re poised to bring their relentless pace and explosive energy across the Atlantic.
