Belgian trio Psychonaut, long celebrated for their expansive, genre-blurring approach to post-metal, return this autumn with World Maker—their most emotionally charged and compositionally direct release to date. Due out 24 October via Pelagic Records, the album arrives after a period of intense transformation for the band, both personally and creatively.

To accompany the announcement, Psychonaut have released the first track from the album, “Endless Currents,” a dynamic meditation on impermanence and the search for meaning amidst chaos.

While previous works explored layered philosophical narratives, World Maker shifts toward something more immediate—more human. The band trade abstraction for clarity, channelling raw emotion into panoramic compositions that rise and collapse with the weight of lived experience. World Maker isn’t just a reflection of change—it’s an active reckoning with it, urging listeners to find stillness in the moment as a way to shape a meaningful future.

With World Maker, Psychonaut reaffirm their position at the forefront of forward-thinking heavy music—never content to repeat themselves, always evolving.
