After delivering a blistering early morning set to a packed tent at this year’s 2000 Trees Festival, we caught up with Birmingham-based band Terminals to chat about their festival experience and whats on the horizon for them in 2025.
You’ve just performed at 2000 trees festival how was it for you guys?
It was incredible, everybody talks about how amazing the crowds are at trees, and it’s so true. Super accommodating and supportive, and the tent was packed!
Was there a particular moment during your set that really stood out to you?
We saw one guy singing along to our song ‘Depths’, wicked stuff!

How does the energy at 2000 Trees compare to other festivals you’ve played?
2000 trees is so far the only festival that we have played, but from the perspective of a punter, the feeling of community and the good vibes at trees compare to nowhere else, everybody is there for the love of music, and everybody is super lovely!
Did you get a chance to check out any other bands on the lineup? Any favourites?
Our trees highlights were Delta Sleep, unpeople, Vukovi, Heriot, & Vower!
What’s one thing fans wouldn’t expect about the behind-the-scenes of your festival day?
We had to fill one car with our entire rig, including a drum kit, amps, 3 guitars, 2 basses, pedalboards and everything else, which we managed to fit into a golf!
Are there any new releases, collaborations, or tours you have coming up that you’re excited about?
We are super excited for the release of our second EP ‘Awake’ coming out on October 8th.

Where would you like to see the band a year from now — festivals, tours, or something totally different?
We’d love to tour the UK, play at more festivals like Arctangent, Noplay and Outbreak for example, to play Trees again, play a show/shows in Europe, and to be recording all of our new music!
