Verse Metrics are back with their fourth single in as many months, and this time it’s a special edition. Robin Southby of Leicester’s post-rock legends Maybeshewill has reinvented one of Verse Metrics new tracks, and you can listen to it here:

The handsome stately talented legend of Maybeshewill Robin Southby provides the latest single for Verse Metrics with his remix of their track ‘ArcaneSpillage’. Actually,to call it a remix is slightly unfair on Robin. He’s more completely rewritten the instrumentation from the ground up, and it is quite magical, as you would expect.  So much so,Verse Metrics have decided to release the remix before the original.

Verse Metricsisan atmospheric alternative indie rock band from central Scotland, blending the precision of math-rock with the cinematic depth of post-rock. Praised by Clash,Kerrang!, and The Scotsman for their emotive sound and dynamic intensity, the band’s music explores memory, isolation, and connection. Their forthcoming debut album ‘Descents’ showcases a sharper, heavier evolution, both powerful and beautifully human.
