Nottinghams cult noisy alt rock band A-TOTA-SO have today announced their new album “I told you so” is set for release on the 4th September via bUTTONpUSHER
Limited to 200 copies on 180g heavyweight classic black vinyl you can pre-order the album HERE

At its core, “I Told You So” wrestles with anxiety, depression, grief, and the suffocating weight of the modern world. It reflects how the mind can flicker between calm and panic in seconds, how control feels illusory, and how certainty dissolves under pressure. Written largely through winter, the lyrics remain deliberately open-ended, inviting listeners to project their own meaning, struggles, and moments of clarity or collapse.
Their third album sees guitarist Marty Toner step forward as lead vocalist for the first time. Recorded during a week-long residency in an old Welsh mill in early 2025 with JT Soar and Snug Recording Co, the album captures a-tota-so at their most direct and ferocious.
Mixed by Mark Roberts (Black Peaks, Delta Sleep, Vower, Every Hell) and mastered by Stephen Kerrison, it is set for release on 4th September 2026 via bUTTONpUSHER.
To celebrate the band have also released a remix by their good friends Soaper which is available on Subvert and YouTube
