Five Acts You Must See at 2000 Trees

2000trees is just around the corner, and we’re gearing up for another unforgettable journey to Upcote Farm to catch our favourite acts live. Here at bUTTONpUSHER we like to champion the more underground bands that we feel deserve your attention so here are five acts you simply cannot miss:

Enola Gay – WEDNESDAY WORD STAGE – 17:40

Bursting out of Belfast, this Irish noise punk ensemble have been making waves since their inception in late 2019. Enola Gay’s venomous hip-hop-inspired vocals intertwine with unforgiving guitar riffs, backed by a rhythm section that seamlessly blends left-field electronica, techno, and late 70s post-punk influences. Quickly carving out their niche, they’ve been touring relentlessly including a recent tour of the states.

Pronounced ‘CLIT DRIP’ the Brighton based genre-defying trio aren’t shy about making an impression. With a bold and playful approach, CLT DRP having been making waves with their tireless work ethic and massive sound in recent years. Their music is a powerful invitation to move, reflect, and question the world around you.

Palm Reader – FRIDAY THE CAVE – 20:10

Nottingham noisemongers Palm Reader are sadly calling it a day but not before they go one more time at Trees. It’s sure to be an emotional show and one not to be missed if you like your music on the heavier spectrum.

We caught Cody at last years Trees and were blown away by her angsty, aggressive dark pop which draws comparisons to Ashnikko, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance. Cody’s provocative, personality-driven pop is poised to captivate a broad audience.

Vower – THURSDAY THE CAVE – 14:00

Vower are a new force in the alternative music scene made up of members from Black Peaks, Toska, and Palm Reader. Their shared history and mutual respect fuel this project, promising to make Vower a household name in the alt-music world in years to come.
