GOD ALONE have just announced their forthcoming album “The Beep Test” will be released via Prosthetic Records on the 10th October 2025.
Renowned for charging through styles and vibes with the velocity of a high-speed bullet train, barreling forward at a breakneck pace, busting boundaries, and beckoning listeners to hold on for dear life. The Cork based quintet mash together math rock virtuosity, metal intensity, pop hooks, techno textures, and dancefloor-ready grooves equally at home under the glow of a disco ball or in the centre of the mosh pit. This is what happens when you invite a cohort of highly skilled music nerds with all of their amps and gear beyond the velvet rope and into the V.I.P. section of the club. This is controlled chaos converted into a catchy collage of sounds. This is GOD ALONE. To coincide with the announcement the band have also released their latest single also titled “The Beep test”
“We’ve been a band since we were really young, and the genre-bending aspect has come a long way,” observes O’Driscoll. “In the past, it sort of resembled slapping random elements together. It’s more cohesive now. The Beep Test has influences from math rock, prog, and metal, but the songwriting is more mature and almost pop. The goal is for it to be different and interesting.”
