ArcTanGent, the UK’s leading festival for post-rock, math rock, and all things boundary-pushing, has confirmed its final main stage headliner for 2025: the incomparable Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The legendary Canadian collective return to Fernhill Farm for the first time in nearly a decade, with what will be their only European performance of the year—a rare and unmissable moment for long-time fans.
This announcement completes a formidable headlining trio, joining the already-confirmed Wardruna, Karnivool, and Tesseract. Known for their politically charged compositions and overwhelming live presence, Godspeed’s appearance is set to be a highlight of the summer calendar.
Also newly added to the bill is Chicago’s Snooze, a math rock outfit whose jittery, complex rhythms make them a perfect fit for the festival’s exploratory spirit. They bolster an already vast and eclectic lineup that includes Leprous, Melvins, Arab Strap, Mew, Green Lung, Clown Core, Rolo Tomassi, Sungazer, We Lost The Sea, The Fall of Troy, Maybeshewill, Pelican, Kylesa, Frontierer, Envy, Emma Ruth Rundle, and many more.
ArcTanGent has also launched a new festival app, featuring a clash-finder, announcement alerts, exclusive merchandise drops and more—designed to keep festivalgoers ahead of the game. A newly unveiled poster designed by John Baizley of Baroness, along with a fully redesigned website, adds a visual flourish to the festival’s evolving identity.
ArcTanGent 2025 will take place on 13–16 August at its much-loved home near Bristol. Tickets are available now—this will be the only place in Europe to witness Godspeed You! Black Emperor next year.
