A feral, genre-smashing force out of Atlanta, The Callous Daoboys don’t just flirt with chaos they turn it into a weapon and their sound hits like a violent swerve, lurching between metalcore brutality, nu-metal grime, noise rock convulsions, and cocky rock ’n’ roll swagger, like a car hurtling downhill with no brakes and the engine on fire.

Plenty of bands talk about balancing chaos and melody. The Callous Daoboys don’t balance they overwhelm. This isn’t a revival of noise rock, it’s a re-animation, sent charging through everything in its path. Across their catalogue, they’ve made one thing brutally clear: subtlety is dead and they killed it deliberately.

Now, the alternative metal collective returns with a searing new single, “Gigantic Parasite Tongue,” marking their first release since the critically acclaimed I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven.

The unsettling video for “Gigantic Parasite Tongue” was directed by Sam Hahn, and is a haunting departure from their earlier visuals.  The story follows a modern angel who is mercilessly kidnapped and dragged away. Bound and powerless, he becomes the victim of a brutal ritual, his wings torn from him in a desperate attempt to transfer divinity to another.

The Callous Daoboys will be touring throughout the year and will return to Europe for summer headlining and festival dates, followed by support dates with Enter Shikari this autumn.
