The much-loved and award-winning ArcTanGent Festival will return next summer, running from 19th–22nd August 2026, and has unveiled an incredible first wave of acts for what promises to be another unforgettable edition.
Topping today’s announcement is the phenomenal French artist Igorrr who will perform an exclusive UK show. Renowned for blending black metal, breakbeats, baroque, trip-hop and more, Igorrr’s unique sound and theatrical live performance will make this one of the festival’s must-see sets.
Joining the bill are fellow French acts Alcest (UK exclusive), pioneers of atmospheric black metal, and electronic artist Perturbator (also a UK exclusive and recent Kerrang! cover star).
Other major names include Oklahoma’s Chat Pile (noise/sludge/metal), returning Belgian post-metal favourites Oathbreaker (UK exclusive show), and Iceland’s acclaimed Agent Fresco, performing their first shows in seven years and appearing exclusively at ArcTanGent 2026. British math-rock heroes TTNG will also make their long-awaited return to the stage marking their first performance in seven years.
There’s more excitement with several special shows and reunions. British band Heck are reforming to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Instructions, while Humanfly will play their first show in 13 years. Other newly announced acts include Town Portal, Shearling, Michael Cera Palin, and more.
Following last year’s hugely successful Silent Disco, Amplifier will return to deliver a unique live Silent Disco set which is one not to be missed.
Some of the Wednesday line-up has also been revealed, featuring the soon-to-be-retired post-hardcore favourites Svalbard, playing their final festival show. They’ll be joined by French post-rockers Lost In Kiev and math-rock trio Alpha Male Tea Party, whose latest release Reptilian Brain is already being hailed as one of 2025’s best albums.
Speaking about the upcoming edition, festival organiser James Scarlett said:
“The demand for ArcTanGent 2026 tickets has truly been unprecedented, with over half of our tickets selling within the first two weeks. Fans will have to wait a little longer before we can announce our headliners, but we’re so excited about the exclusives, reformations, and special sets already confirmed. Early Bird tickets are running low, so if you want to lock in for another vintage ArcTanGent, don’t sleep!”
